Welcome to The Bag Charm Co ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order through thebagcharmco.com (the "Site"), you agree to the terms below. Please read them before checking out.
1. Handmade & Made-to-Order
Every charm is individually designed and handcrafted by hand in Northwest Arkansas after your order is placed. Because each piece is made to order, no two charms will ever be exactly alike — even when the same colors, symbols, or style are selected. Photos, inspo images, and past charms shown on this site or on Instagram are for style reference only, not an exact preview of your finished piece.
2. Customization
When you order, you'll choose your style, color direction, hardware, personalization (name/word/initials), and symbols to include or avoid. We do our best to honor every request, but final charm/bead selection and arrangement is curated by us based on your preferences, availability of materials, and design judgment. We reserve the right to decline custom text/names that are offensive, inappropriate, or infringe on someone else's trademark or copyright.
3. Pricing & Payment
Current pricing is listed on the Site at checkout and may change at any time without notice for future orders. Payment is due in full at the time of order through our secure checkout (processed by Stripe — see our Privacy Policy). Orders are not started until payment is confirmed.
4. Production, Approval & Shipping Time
Because each charm is handmade, please allow 5 business days for your order to be completed before it ships or is ready for pickup. Specialty, unique, or first-time bead/material requests may take longer — up to 3–4 weeks. If your order falls into this category, we'll do our best to reach out and let you know before you're left wondering.
Before your charm ships, we'll text you a photo of your finished piece for approval (email if we're unable to reach you by text). You'll have 72 hours to review it — if we haven't heard from you within 24 hours, we'll send one reminder, and if there's still no response by 72 hours total, your charm will be considered approved and shipped as shown.
- Local pickup is available for free at Whole Foods in Rogers, AR.
- U.S. shipping options: Standard $10 (est. 4–7 business days), Expedited $15 (est. 3–4 business days), or Express $25 (est. 1–2 business days).
- Shipping times begin once your custom charm is completed and ready to ship. Because each charm is handmade to order, production time is separate from the shipping timeframe selected at checkout.
- For orders outside the standard shipping area (including international), please contact us at support@thebagcharmco.com before ordering to arrange shipping.
5. Design Revisions, Returns & Exchanges
Design Revisions: One round of minor adjustments is included before your charm ships — for example, swapping a bead or charm, adjusting a small color detail, or rearranging a section. Because every piece is a Creator's Choice design, complete redesigns or multiple rounds of revisions aren't included.
Returns & Exchanges: Because every charm is custom-made for you, we don't accept returns or exchanges for design preferences or changes of mind once your approval photo has been approved (or the 72-hour approval window has passed).
Craftsmanship & Damage: If your charm arrives broken or there's a craftsmanship issue, please email support@thebagcharmco.com within 7 days of delivery. We'll happily fix it at no charge — just reach out and we'll send you a prepaid shipping label.
Loose Strands (up to 4 months): Bag charms are handmade and knotted by hand. If a strand loosens with normal use, we're happy to retighten or restring it at no additional cost. Requests for complimentary retightening or restringing must be made within four months of the original order date. For example, an order placed on June 7 is eligible through October 7. You'll just cover the cost of shipping the charm back to us.
6. Small Parts Notice
Bag charms include small beads, clips, and hardware components. They are not toys and are not intended for children under 5 years old, due to choking hazard risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, photography, and branding on this Site belong to The Bag Charm Co. Customer-submitted inspo photos are used solely to inform your custom design and are not published or reused without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Bag Charm Co is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use, loss, or damage of a purchased charm, beyond the remedies described in our returns/repair policy above.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
